Side-Income Tracker (Private, Saved on Your Device)

Log what actually arrived each month from ads, clients, products, or anything else. See six months of totals by source and export a CSV. Nothing leaves your browser.

Log what actually arrived. Saved only in this browser.

Last 6 months

Tip: a month with nothing is still worth logging — it's the honest shape of side income.

    Why track it at all

Because side income is lumpy and memory is kind. Ads pay small amounts on a delay; a client pays three invoices in one week and nothing for a month. Writing the real figures down each month is how you find out whether a thing is working — and how you stop telling yourself it's going better (or worse) than it is.

    How I use it

On the first of the month I log the previous month's AdSense payment, client invoices that were actually paid, and anything else. I look at the six-month bars, not the month. If a source has been flat for six months, it's time to change something or stop.

    Questions I get asked

    Where is my data stored?
In your browser's local storage on this device only. It is not uploaded, and I cannot see it. Clearing your browser data erases it, so export a CSV every few months if you want a copy.
Should I log income when it's earned or when it's paid?
When it's paid. Ad networks pay the month after (and only once you cross the payment threshold); clients pay late. Logging on receipt shows the real cash pattern, which is what you need to plan around.
    Why six months?
It's long enough to see a trend and short enough to be honest. One good month proves nothing; six show whether something is growing.
    Can I track expenses too?
Not here — this tool is deliberately simple. Log costs as a negative 'Other' entry if you want a rough net, or use a spreadsheet for proper books.
